What are veneers?
In woodworking, veneer refers to thin slices of wood and sometimes bark, usually thinner than 3 mm, that typically are glued onto core panels to produce flat panels such as doors, tops and panels for cabinets, parquet floors and parts of furniture. They are also used in marquetry.

As an architect it’s important for me to see and feel the veneers, I love the fact that I can order samples online and then call in to book a visit at their factory.
The veneer you see above is part of our reconstituted veneer range. Our reconstituted veneers are made from Ayous and are dyed and cut in a way so that they mimic the real product for only a fraction of the cost. There are many benefits to using a reconstituted veneer – those being 10-20% cheaper, consistent colour and grain, minimal wastage and always in stock.
